Fire Marshal/Floodplain Manager

Overview

The Fire Marshal's Office is responsible for fire code enforcement, plan reviews, inspections, the education of our residents in preventing fires and planning for natural and man-made disasters. It is our belief that it is both safer and more economical to prevent a fire from occurring and to be prepared for a disaster.

Other responsibilities include those of the Floodplain Manager, and GIS system in the city.

The Fire Marshal's Office is comprised of 1 personnel: the Fire Marshal.

The area serviced is the City of Neptune Beach which ranges from the Atlantic Ocean on the east to the Intracoastal Waterway on the west, and from Atlantic Beach city limit (Atlantic Blvd) on the north to the Jacksonville Beach city line on the south. It is approximately 2.2 square miles covering approximately 7800 residents.
