Mandatory Evacuation Ordered--Emergency Declaration Issued

Neptune Beach Mayor Elaine Brown and Interim City Manager Leon Smith have issued a delaration of emergency in the City of Neptune Beach. The City will discuss emergency preparedness at a meeting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, September 2, 2019, at City Hall, 116 First Street. The City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 6:00 pm has been cancelled. Neptune Beach City Hall will be closed until further notice.

-Curfews from 10:00pm-6:00am, until further notice.
-Alcohol sales suspended from 10pm until further notice.

Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry has issued a mandatory evacuation of Zones A and B, which includes all of Neptune Beach. Hurricane Dorian is a major storm that can produce life-threatening weather in our area.
