Police Officer (Full-Time)
The City of Neptune Beach Police Department is seeking applications for Police Officers. Police Officers are appointed by the Police Chief and report directly to Patrol Sergeants. The position performs various duties in law enforcement and provides services to protect the lives and property of the citizens of the City of Neptune Beach, to include patrolling, investigating crimes and enforcing traffic laws. Incumbent ensures all laws and ordinances are enforced in an efficient, effective and professional manner. Work is performed under general supervision and performance is reviewed through conferences, reports submitted, and results obtained. Incumbent will enforce all city and state codes, ordinances, laws, and regulations in order to protect life and property and to prevent crime and promote security; apprehends and/or arrests persons who violate federal, state or City codes and laws and advises suspects of rights; processes and transports prisoners according to procedure.

Waste Water Operator — Class "C" or Higher
Under general supervision of a Lead Operator, performs mechanical/technical work in the removal of pollutants and impurities from Wastewater to recycle the wastewater and protect the environment. Work involves the gathering and recording of information vital to efficient plant operation. Work is performed with some degree of independence, subject to review through completed Preventative Maintenance forms, reports, and on-site inspection of work in progress. Performs other work as requested.
